Went to them because the had a good rating and were close to where live. I had a coolant leak and they look over everything after checking to see what the problem was. They gave me an invoice on the work ask to get fixed plus a few other things that could be done. They gave me the option to decline or accept the extra work that could be done without any pressure. Very nice crew and definitely will go back!

Always an excellent experience. The team is professional, hardworking, efficient, and thorough. As a woman, I especially appreciate being treated with respect and honesty. No upselling, no talking down to me, just straightforward communication and great service. They take the time to explain what’s going on, present the facts honestly, and make sure you understand your options before any work begins. Most recently, they replaced my starter within two hours of my initial call, and my car has been running noticeably better since. I highly recommend them - grateful to have a safe trustworthy place in town to bring my car.

Very , very capable. There did what needed to be done and were accommodating. Did not charge enough considering I rolled in at 10 minutes to closing time on Saturday and they worked past quitting time so I and my family could get back to Knoxville from vacation. Slow leak in tire from a nail. Went to three places in Columbus/Forest City and none of them would take on the needed repair. Added air 6 times as we drove from place to place looking for help.

I was out of town with an unusual noise in the front-end of my suv. I located Tip-Top on the internet, called them and asked if they could get me in at least for a diagnosis since I was intending to go back home but only if it was safe to drive. Thet said they could. I drove over, they got right on it an determined the culprit of the noise. I didn't get them to repair it due to time constraints and they said it should be safe to drive home. I paid them for diagnostics which I felt was reasonable and am now home safely 200 miles later. I would recommend them and trust them to work on my cars if in Asheville. We'll pleased.

My transmission was jerking and another shop immediately said I needed a full replacement for over $2,000. I brought it here for a second opinion and they found the actual problem — a leaking drain plug washer. Easy fix. Saved me a ton of money. Very honest shop. Definitely recommend.
